The Museum Mile: the MET, Guggenheim and Cooper Hewitt

Day 2 in New York was much warmer, a complete contrast to the chilly conditions yesterday. It was a day of art museums - the traditional and immense Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET); the unusual design of the iconic Guggenheim Museum, and the totally interactive design museum at Cooper Hewitt. All three were very different in their collections and experiences.
We sat on the steps of the MET, an Upper East Side leisurely pastime.
Inside, we visited the Ancient Egyptian collection and the Temple of Dendur

We saw the Medieval Armory collection and so many famous paintings and sculptures included Degas Dancer.
