MAD for design
This afternoon we visited the Museum of Art and Design (MAD) near Central Park. We all participated in a workshop designing an object or sculpture from found objects and materials. Our educator, Carlos, took us through the 'Studio Job' exhibition of designed objects that were functional but also quirky, poking fun at social issues.
